Warwick Chemicals’ Mostyn HQ has become the Global Fabric Care Centre of Excellence for Lubrizol Home Care R&D.
The move comes alongside investment in scientists and equipment to enable Lubrizol to offer outstanding support to customers across both liquid and powder products.
Lubrizol’s acquisition of Warwick in December 2014 means that Lubrizol Home Care can offer a broad range of products that include functional ingredients to provide disinfection, fabric softening and cleaning as well as rheology modifiers for dishwashing, fabric and surface care. Mostyn R&D will work closely with Lubrizol R&D facilities in the USA, India, Singapore and China.
Dr Jane Mathews, Head of Technology at Warwick says of the decision, “We are proud to have been given the responsibility to lead Lubrizol’s development of innovative solutions for our customers’ formulation requirements. The combination of Warwick’s knowledge of powder systems with Lubrizol’s formulation experience of liquid products means that we will be able to tackle a broad range of challenges that will create value for our customers.”
