Safic-Alcan, a leading distributor of specialty chemicals, has
announced the acquisition of 100% of PNP, an Italian food ingredients distributor.
Founded by Mr. Paolo Pennati in 2012, PNP has a strong presence in the dairy and food ingredients
market, with its headquarters located in Milan. This acquisition will complement the business of
Castelli Food, which Safic-Alcan acquired in 2019. “We are committed to expanding our sectorial
diversification and this acquisition marks another important step towards increasing our activities in
the food industry,” said Yann Lissillour, CEO of the Safic-Alcan Group. “We are excited to welcome
Paolo to our team and ensure a smooth transition.”

Safic-Alcan is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Paul Flory as the head of Group
