Safic-Alcan consolidates its presence in Brazil and acquires Sarfam Indústria Comércio e
Importação Ltda
Paris-La Défense, September 20, 2022– Safic-Alcan, a major distributor of specialty chemicals, announces that
it has acquired 100% of Sarfam, a Brazilian chemical distributor specializing in the personal care, perfumery
and cosmetics sectors.
Established exactly 25 years ago by Mrs Maria Antonia Salerno, Sarfam has a strong presence in the Brazilian
market, being extremely renowned and covering the entire national area in its operations. Sarfam is
headquartered in Sao Paulo. Their application laboratory abilities will reinforce Safic-Alcan’s own existing
network.
