Feed
Oleon supports farmers in building this more sustainable world through a range of sustainable feed additives. As a strong oleochemical player, Oleon offers a range of short and medium monoglycerides with antimicrobial properties, digestive aids and Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) which proves to be an excellent energy source.
Animal farming is under constant pressure to reduce its environmental footprint, improve efficiency and increase profitability. Antibiotic growth promotors (AGPs) are being phased out worldwide, starting a quest for sustainable alternatives. As feed costs rise, the feed should be consumed and digested as efficiently as possible.
Oleon offers a range of short and medium monoglycerides with antimicrobial properties. These molecules have the ability to be a more sustainable alternative to AGPs.
We also offer different digestive aids focused on improving fat digestion. Especially in young animals, fat digestion is often lacking. Homecare

Industrial Formulations
Esters are used in various industrial formulations due to the inherent advantages of their raw materials, natural fats and oils: non-toxic, non-irritating and biodegradable. The variety in possible fatty esters is virtually unlimited, because of the flexible production processes: esterification or transesterification. Oleon can offer esters specifically designed for your application.
The chemical industry heavily rely on petrochemical solvents and surfactants. These product are not only obtained from fossil fuels thus contributing to global warming, but are often emitting VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and not always food contact compatible. Ester solvents and surfactants are environmental friendly and safe alternatives. Our products finds their use in inks for offset printing, industrial cleaning, water treatment and as emulsifiers or viscosity reducers in paints, coatings and other industrial mixtures.

Polymers & Tyres
Oleon offers a wide range of biobased polymer additives to improve processability, prolong the life span and/or achieve the desired physicochemical properties of the plastic formulation. Our polymer additive portfolio includes lubricants and mold release agents, antistatic and antifogging agents, plasticizers and viscosity regulators, and pigment dispersing agents to formulate just the right masterbatch or compound for your application. Most polymer additives are Food Contact approved.
Fatty esters are used for decades as high performance polymer additives for polyolefins, polyesters, rubbers and other polymer systems. Oleon offers well know polymers additives, like GMS (glycerol mono stearate), but over the years specialty products with enhanced properties were developed to meet specific market demands. Polyurethanes
Polyurethane is a versatile commodity plastic you can find back in numerous applications that provide comfort in our daily lives. This plastic consists of two main building blocks; isocyanates and polyols, whether it is the flexible comfort foam in your automotive seating, the rigid insulation panels in your house and refrigerator or the elastomeric shoe soles you are walking on.
Although a live without polyurethanes is unthinkable in modern society, the production comes with a heavy environmental burden as both building blocks are generally derived from crude oil and heavy processing. Oleon contributes to your daily comfort by offering sustainable polyester polyols for polyurethanes with enhanced performance characteristics in addition to their highly renewable content.
The transition to more sustainable materials is a must for the polyurethane industry. Oleon offers polyester polyols based on dimer acid technology to substitute petrochemical polyols without compromising the quality and performance. Our dimer acid polyester polyols provide specific enhanced properties to the final polyurethane, like water repellency and hydrolytic resistance, flexibility and elongation to make them the perfect building block for your C.A.S.E.
