Kimia is part of HG & Co Ltd, an independent family owned company with a history dating back to 1820.

The company has been handling Ethyl Alcohol for over 100 years and was the sole UK producer of Absolute Alcohol in the early 20th Century. For the last 50 years, KimiaUK has developed a global business as a supplier of Ethanol and other high quality solvents to the flavour, fragrance, pharmaceutical, and personal care industries and research laboratories. This has been achieved through developing strong relationships with some of the largest chemical companies in the world.

In the 1980’s, our UK site was purpose built for Hayman Limited and operates to ISO 9001:2008 and has BRC Food Accreditation for food Solvents. We are fully committed to excellence in quality and safety.

The Company is an active member of the Chemical Business Association (CBA) and the Solvents Industry Association (SIA) and strongly promotes all aspects of Responsible Care and Product Stewardship and has been accredited with Investors in People (IiP).

We offer a wide range of blending, denaturing, packing and distribution to destinations world wide to standard and customer own specifications.
